Description

Design, develop, and support critical AS400 applications for the insurance domain.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend APIs using NodeJS and Express within a microservice architecture.
• Manage application servers using NGINX and Tomcat.
• Implement DevOps automation with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deploy and manage services on Microsoft Azure Cloud.
• Write test automation assets in a CI/CD environment using Git.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in AS400 development.
• Expert knowledge of RESTful APIs and API Management.
• Strong proficiency in NodeJS with Express.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of object-oriented design and async programming.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Oracle, MS SQL, or MongoDB.
• Experience working in SCRUM or Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Azure Developer Associate certification.
• Microsoft Azure DevOps Engineer certification.
