Description

You will develop, maintain, and support applications on the AS/400 platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using RPG (RPGLE, Free RPG), CL, and DDS.
• Analyze business requirements and create technical specifications.
• Perform unit and integration testing; support QA and UAT phases.
• Provide production support and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in RPG (IV, RPGLE, Free RPG), CL/CLLE, and DDS.
• Experience with DB2/400, SQL, and database design concepts.
• Understanding of IBM iSeries (AS/400) architecture and tools (SEU, SDA, RLU, PDM, etc.).
• Knowledge of job scheduling, system utilities, and message handling on IBM i.
• Proficient in debugging and performance tuning of applications.
• 10+ years of experience in AS/400 development.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to modernization tools such as Web services, APIs, Node.js, or Java integration with AS/400.
• Familiarity with Change Management tools like TurnOver, Aldon, or similar.
