Description

You will maintain and support IBM AS400 (I Series) financial and insurance systems across Dev, QA, and Production environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot financial transactions, including updating tables to enable or disable products.
• Manage datafeeds, payments, and print jobs connecting to external systems.
• Handle financial reporting and transaction processes, specifically EFT/ACH files and 1099 reporting.
• Manage data transfer processes using IBM MQ and follow SDLC protocols.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IBM AS400 development and maintenance, specifically with financial or insurance systems.
• Proficiency in SQL, Query, Implementer, COBOL, and Control Language.
• Experience using Subversion (Tortoise/SVN), FTP, RoboFTP, WinSCP, and command batch files.
• Working knowledge of job schedulers, Redgate tools, and Altova tools.
• Experience with IBM MQ for data transfer.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office, Visual Studio, and SQL Server Management Studio.

Preferred Skills

• Experience maintaining websites using C#, ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, and SQL Server.
• Ability to manage web server configurations and deployments via IIS.
