Description

You will design, develop, and maintain software applications on the AS/400 or iSeries platform to meet business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement moderate-complexity software applications.
• Analyze requirements to determine design feasibility within time and cost constraints.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define technical solutions.
• Manage scheduled and interactive jobs, including access management, security, and printers.
• Provide post-implementation support and assist with system enhancements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with AS/400 or iSeries systems and hardware.
• Proficiency in RPGLE, SQL, and DB2/400.
• Hands-on experience with PDM, SDA, SEU, RLU, and WRKQRY.
• Working knowledge of COBOL, Synon, ILE, CL, and SPL/400.
• Experience with system administration and basic AS/400 admin commands.
• Ability to use software to develop and analyze IT data and applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Web Technologies and Web Services.
• Prior experience with Version Control, Object Oriented Programming, and Relational Database Systems.
