Description

You will manage production issue resolution and application stability on the AS400 platform, providing leadership during critical incidents.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Resolve production issues to meet or exceed Service Level Agreements.
• Lead support for critical production incidents on a 24/7/365 basis.
• Conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective action plans.
• Perform code reviews to maintain high quality standards.
• Provide accurate task estimates and collaborate on process improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience with AS400 ILE concepts.
• Proficiency in RPGLE, CL, and COBOL.
• Hands-on experience with Embedded SQL in RPGLE and CL.
• Strong experience with DB2/400, SQL/400, Query/400, and Query Manager.
• Experience with DDS, PF, LF, and DFU.
• Proficiency with SEU, RLU, and SDA.
• Experience using AS400 ROBOT scheduler and ACMS change management.
• Knowledge of OS/400 system administration (JOBS, MQ, OUTQ, Spool Files, FTP, User Profiles).
• Experience with IBM Client Access for Windows and iSeries Navigator.
