Description

You will manage day-to-day operations for IBM i (AS400) production environments, ensuring system stability and meeting SLA commitments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain production systems, handling job restarts and batch scheduling.
• Troubleshoot incidents using CL commands, DB2/400, message queues, and spool files.
• Manage production incidents through ITSM tools and ensure timely resolution.
• Analyze system logs and performance data to identify root causes.
• Communicate status updates and technical findings to stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years supporting IBM i (AS400) production environments.
• Proficiency with ITSM tools for incident management.
• Hands-on experience with DB2/400 database operations.
• Knowledge of batch scheduling and job monitoring.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
