Description

Maintain and modify existing software systems on the AS400 platform, implementing new features and providing technical support.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and modify existing software using RPG and CL.
• Implement new software systems using appropriate programming languages.
• Analyze programming requests and write functional and technical specifications.
• Test all program changes thoroughly to ensure desired results.
• Provide technical assistance to end users.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software programming.
• Proficiency in reading and writing RPG and CL code.
• Working knowledge of RPGII and RPGIII.
• Ability to analyze existing code to identify flaws and undesirable results.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience writing technical specifications to accommodate requested needs.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree.
