Description

You will develop and maintain AS/400 applications, managing the full development lifecycle from analysis to unit testing and production support.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

  • Execute analysis, design, coding, and unit testing for AS/400 applications.
  • Manage implementation processes and handle production support tasks.
  • Maintain existing AS/400 systems and interact directly with customers.
  • Apply strong communication skills to bridge technical and business requirements.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of hands-on AS/400 development experience.
  • Proficiency in RPG and RPGLE programming.
  • Experience with CL and CLLE.
  • Knowledge of DB400 and SQLRPGLE.
  • Strong understanding of ILE concepts.
  • Proven experience in the retail industry (minimum 1 year).
  • Ability to manage full development lifecycle phases.

Preferred Skills

  • Agile methodology knowledge.
  • Production support experience.
