Description

You will own backend development and software engineering tasks as a contract AS400 RPG Programmer.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day backend web development and software programming tasks.
• Apply object-oriented programming principles to existing codebases.
• Solve complex technical problems through analytical debugging and development.
• Collaborate with the team on software development lifecycle requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development and programming.
• Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Strong backend web development skills.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work on-site in Chicago, IL.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Direct experience with AS400 RPG programming.
