Description

You will develop and maintain applications within an IBM i (AS/400) environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance applications using RPG/RPGLE, SQLRPGLE, and CL.
• Design and optimize SQL queries using DB2/400 databases.
• Build and manage APIs and JSON structures within RPGLE programs.
• Debug batch processes, manage JOBQs, and resolve MSGW conditions.
• Document functional requirements and technical designs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in RPG/RPGLE development.
• Proficiency in SQLRPGLE and CL programming.
• Hands-on experience with DB2/400 databases.
• Experience managing JSON structures and API development in AS/400.
• Competency in system integration and file handling via IFS and FTP.
• Knowledge of Aldon change management for versioning and deployment.
• Ability to handle batch debugging and MSGW conditions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with XML, Java, or Warehousing/Retail domains.
