Description

You will lead the technical direction for AS400 and COBOL systems, ensuring stability and guiding modernization efforts.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain AS/400 environments using ILE concepts and CL programming.
• Develop and optimize queries using Query/400 and SQL.
• Lead legacy modernization initiatives and reverse engineering projects.
• Extract and document business rules to support system evolution.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with AS400 and COBOL.
• Deep expertise in AS/400 ILE concepts.
• Proficiency in CL programming.
• Strong skills in Query/400 and SQL.
• 10+ years of total professional experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with legacy modernization and reverse engineering.
• Background in Business Rules Extraction (BRE).
