Description

You will develop and maintain AS400 applications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and support AS400 applications using RPGLE, CLLE, and DB2/400.
  • Design and implement integration solutions using XML, JSON, REST/SOAP Web Services.
  • Perform unit testing, code reviews, and support UAT and production deployments.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in AS400 programs and interfaces.
  • Ensure scalable, modular, and maintainable code aligned with architectural standards.

Required Skills

  • 3–5 years of AS400 development experience.
  • Proficiency in RPG III, RPGLE, CLLE, DDS, and DB2/400.
  • Strong understanding of ILE concepts, service programs, and modular design.
  • Advanced SQL/400 and query optimization.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Familiarity with XML, JSON, REST/SOAP Web Services.
  • Exposure to system integration with external platforms (Linux, Windows).
  • Working knowledge of Git or other version control tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
