Description

Develop, maintain, and support AS400 applications.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support AS400 applications using RPGLE, CLLE, and DB2/400.
• Analyze and implement complex business logic with minimal supervision.
• Design and implement integration solutions using XML, JSON, REST/SOAP Web Services.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in AS400 programs and interfaces.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and reviews.

Required Skills

• 3–5 years of AS400 development experience.
• Proficiency in RPG III, RPGLE, CLLE, DDS, and DB2/400.
• Strong understanding of ILE concepts, service programs, and modular design.
• Advanced SQL/400 and query optimization.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with XML, JSON, REST/SOAP Web Services.
• Exposure to system integration with external platforms (Linux, Windows, cloud).
• Working knowledge of Git or other version control tools.
• Awareness of DevOps practices and automated deployments.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of total professional experience.
