Description

Maintain and manage the AS400 environment, focusing on application development, system operations, and interface support.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain RPG and CL programs.
• Schedule application jobs for financial and manufacturing processes using Robot Scheduling.
• Manage day-to-day IT operations and resolve complex technical issues.
• Support and manage interfaces connecting to CPQ/Configurator, payroll/GL, and supply chain systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience working with AS400/iSeries servers.
• Expert proficiency in RPG and CL Programming.
• Hands-on experience with AS400 Queries and SQL.
• Familiarity with FTP Processes and FTP Servers.
• Experience with job scheduling and Robot Scheduling.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes as applied to AS400/MacPac.
• Understanding of EDI transactions and financial month/year-end processing.
• Experience with third-party software including Robot, Faxstar, Implementer, and Gumbo's Report Manager.
