Description

You will improve Automatic Speech Recognition accuracy through language modeling and NLP research.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Conduct experiments to assess language model quality and NLP impact on speech recognition.
• Identify, optimize, and cluster training data for model development.
• Analyze product usage data to refine language modeling processes.
• Improve language modeling performance across multiple languages.
• Present research progress and technical results to the team.

Required Skills

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
• 2+ years of work experience or relevant internships for recent graduates.
• Background in speech technology, computational linguistics, statistical machine translation, or NLP.
• Proficiency in Python, Perl, or shell scripting.
• Experience working in Linux and Windows environments.
• Strong software engineering skills.
• Fluent in English and a second, non-English language.

Preferred Skills

• Industry or academic experience with large vocabulary speech recognition.
• Expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, information retrieval, deep learning, data mining, or linguistics.
