Description

You will develop and maintain mainframe applications using Assembler and COBOL, supporting production systems and mentoring junior engineers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using Assembler and COBOL within a Mainframe environment.
• Support production systems and participate in on-call rotations as required.
• Mentor junior team members by answering technical questions and teaching improved processes.
• Plan the delivery of technical solutions and guide team competence.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of relevant experience in software development.
• Recent working experience with Assembler.
• Proficiency in COBOL, DB2, MQ, and CICS.
• Strong understanding of Mainframe infrastructure.
• Experience within Credit, Debit, or Financial domains.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate education.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Intertest.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies.
