Description
You will perform routine production assembly on structural and mechanical aircraft assemblies, systems, and accessories.
Responsibilities
- Execute manual assembly operations on structural parts, subassemblies, and equipment.
- Perform drilling, reaming, filling, and installation of fasteners.
- Carry out shimming and accurate data documentation.
- Operate high-impact vibratory tools, including bucking and riveting.
- Interpret detailed work instructions, blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in aircraft structural parts fabrication and assembly.
- Proficiency with conventional lathes and milling machines.
- Experience using precision measuring tools and pneumatic or power tools.
- Ability to work variable shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd).
- Competency in Microsoft Suite, email, and internet navigation.
- Physical capability to lift 10-35 pounds and work with high hazard chemicals.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including kneeling, bending, reaching, climbing ladders, and crouching.
- Any graduate degree or equivalent education.
