Description

Perform routine production assembly on structural and mechanical aircraft assemblies, systems, and accessories.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual assembly operations on structural parts, subassemblies, and equipment.
• Perform drilling, reaming, filling, and installation of fasteners.
• Carry out shimming and accurate data documentation.
• Operate high-impact vibratory tools, including bucking and riveting.
• Interpret detailed work instructions, blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in aircraft structural parts fabrication and assembly.
• Proficiency with conventional lathes and milling machines.
• Experience using precision measuring tools and pneumatic or power tools.
• Ability to work variable shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd).
• Competency in Microsoft Suite, email, and internet navigation.
• Physical capability to lift 10-35 pounds and work with high hazard chemicals.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including kneeling, bending, reaching, climbing ladders, and crouching.

Preferred Skills

• Any graduate degree or equivalent education.
