Description

You will develop and maintain software solutions within an IBM Mainframe environment.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, test, and maintain IBM ALC programs and software packages for inventory, data retrieval, or equipment control.
• Design and implement modules to system specifications, including unit testing and troubleshooting.
• Perform systems analysis and programming tasks to control computer systems software usage.
• Write, analyze, and rewrite programs using workflow charts, diagrams, and symbolic logic.
• Lead and mentor entry and mid-level developers while resolving technical issues.

Required Skills

• 5-7 years of related experience in software development or systems programming.
• Proficiency with IBM ALC programming language in a Z/OS environment.
• Experience with IBM Job Control Language (JCL).
• Hands-on experience with IBM Mainframe systems.
• Ability to perform complex tasks with minimal supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interfacing with management.
• Proven success in client support and troubleshooting production logs.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with TSO, File Manager, ISPFF, Endevor, and IBM utilities including De-Bug.
• Experience with IRS Corporate Systems.
