Description

You will operate high-speed, large-scale automated assembly machinery in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned automated assembly machines safely and efficiently.
• Perform complex repairs, major adjustments, equipment set-ups, and changeovers.
• Execute quality checks following the quality inspection plan (QIP) and document measurements from prints.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly preventive and routine machine maintenance.
• Identify and reset machine faults, clear jams, and package finished products.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in assembly or machine operation.
• Ability to perform tooling adjustments, including sharpening, conditioning, and checking spring-loaded pins.
• Experience replacing sensors, punches, dies, stock components, air cylinders, and belts.
• Proficiency using height indicators, ram optics, gauges, and microscopic visual checks.
• Ability to follow established procedures and quality inspection plans (QIP).
• Competency in teamwork and following technical documentation.
• Skill in adjusting housing feeds based on technical standards.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with bend stations and insertion stations.
