Description

Own electrical design assignments for moderate to major projects, ensuring compliance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Approve design deliverables and review project documents for conformity, safety, and quality assurance.
• Solve technical issues using design thinking, modeling, prototyping, simulation, and calculations.
• Finalize fail-safe philosophy and secure-by-design principles during kick-off and design freeze meetings.
• Ensure Bill of Material (BOM) accuracy to meet contractual obligations and project gross margin targets.
• Assess technical risks and report contract, safety, cybersecurity, or cost issues to Project Managers with recommended resolutions.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in electrical design engineering.
• Proficiency in EPLAN Electric P8 and Propanel.
• Experience using SAP for project execution.
• Strong knowledge of medium voltage switchgear, including AIS and GIS systems design.
• Understanding of power systems, protection, and substation automation.
• Familiarity with international standards such as IEC.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in electrical engineering.
