Description
You will manage plant financial operations and controlling deliverables in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the plant team to maintain overall control of plant operations.
- Review and prepare variable costs and overheads, performing variance analysis against budgets, forecasts, and previous month actuals.
- Facilitate the preparation of annual budgets for costs, KPIs, and overheads.
- Manage month-end deliverables, including inventory management and accounting hygiene reviews.
- Execute CAPEX proposals, post-review analysis, and monitor cost-saving initiatives.
- Support statutory and cost audit activities while ensuring compliance with indirect tax laws and standard operating procedures.
- Control plant working capital through management of inventory, creditors, and advances.
Required Skills
- 5-6 years of relevant experience, primarily in a Plant Finance role.
- CA, CMA, Inter CA, or Inter CMA qualification.
- Deep understanding of financial and manufacturing accounting.
- Proficiency in SAP and Indian Accounting Standards.
- Working knowledge of indirect tax laws, specifically GST.
- Experience with cost audit and inventory management.
- Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen.
- Ability to manage plant operations, variable costs, and accounting hygiene.
