Description

Lead the nursing team during night shifts in a Level III Maternal Child Health Mom/Baby department.

Responsibilities

• Guide the nursing team through assigned night shifts and manage direct reports.
• Assist with annual reviews and handle employee grievances.
• Act as the primary liaison between the medical team and hospital admissions.
• Address and resolve concerns from patients and their families.

Required Skills

• Current California RN license.
• At least 5 years of experience in Mom/Baby RN roles.
• Previous experience in a Lead, Charge, or Assistant Manager/Supervisor capacity.
• Mandatory hospital experience in a Level III Maternal Child Health environment.
• BS or BSN degree.

Preferred Skills

• MS or MSN degree.
• Experience as a Preceptor, Trainer, or Educator.
• Experience working within a union environment.
