Description

You will lead the development of Python micro-services and data pipelines focused on market abuse detection algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python micro-services and algorithms designed to identify market abuse.
• Expand ETL processes to incorporate new data sources.
• Collaborate with quantitative analysts and data scientists to implement requirements for new algorithms, data onboarding, and quality checks.
• Work with developers, quants, data scientists, and production support teams in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to understand requirements and prioritize engineering tasks.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of professional experience.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Strong experience with PySpark.
• Solid understanding of ETL workflows and processes.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or any graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Django.
