Description

Lead technical delivery for end-to-end data workloads and mentor engineering teams in Mumbai.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of technical workloads and manage teams of junior and senior data engineers.
• Design and build data pipelines using AWS Glue, Airflow, and SageMaker.
• Execute large-scale cloud migration workloads involving SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Collaborate with Developers, QA, and Project Managers to implement technical solutions.
• Communicate technical roadmaps, challenges, and mitigation strategies to stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 6 to 9 years of experience in data engineering or architecture.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including Redshift, S3, Glue, Lambda, and EC2.
• Proficiency in writing Python, PySpark, and SQL scripts.
• Experience building and supporting large-scale systems in production environments.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and query optimization.
• Experience with SQL-based technologies such as MySQL, Oracle DB, or SQL Server.
• Experience managing data warehouse projects, preferably leveraging Redshift.
• Experience with GitHub or CodeCommit for developmental activities.
• Ability to perform unit testing on Python code.

Preferred Skills

• Experience leading enterprise-grade ML model migration workloads from GCP to AWS.
• Experience working with models deployed in SageMaker.
• Experience with retail domain use cases.
