Good to Have Skills: Hardware-in-loop (HiL) architecture, Plant model creation, LabVIEW Real Time, LabVIEW FPGA, VB programming, RS422/RS232, TCP/IP & Ethernet, UDP communication standards, avionics protocols (A429, A664 – AFDX, Arinc 653), Software code repositories, Continuous Integration/Deployment, AS9100 or ISO9001 quality management system, ISO 17025 standard, Masters degree in Instrumentation, Electrical or Electronics Engineering.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop solutions to a wide range of complex instrumentation and test automation problems primarily for calibration processes.
• Perform end-to-end development of automated test software including analyzing test requirements, understanding measurement and test instruments, and developing automation software.
• Interface with various hardware systems and equipment while maintaining familiarity with different types of measurement and test equipment and troubleshooting practices.
• Produce comprehensive documentation at every stage of the software development life cycle for project deliverables.
• Work collaboratively with strong teaming skills and maintain flexibility to work with Boeing personnel around the world across different time zones.
• Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners to execute collaborative project plans successfully.
• Contribute to the development, selection, tailoring and deployment of processes, tools and metrics for continuous improvement.
• Provide innovative product and lean-process ideas and actively contribute to their successful deployment and implementation.

Experience Required: Typically 4 to 8 years of related work experience with Bachelor's degree, or 3 to 7 years with Master's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical, Material Sciences or equivalent qualifications. Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instrumentation, Electrical or Electronics Engineering
