Description

Provide first-line technical support and system maintenance as a Level 1 trainee engineer.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Provide help desk support by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network connectivity issues via a ticketing system.
• Perform routine system maintenance, including hardware installations, software updates, and patching.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls during onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Monitor network performance and assist with the configuration of routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Maintain technical documentation for system configurations and troubleshooting procedures.

Required Skills

• Up to 2 years of relevant experience in IT support or system administration.
• Proficiency in Windows Server administration.
• Experience with Office 365, SharePoint, and Exchange administration.
• Solid understanding of Active Directory, DHCP, and DNS.
• Foundational knowledge of networking principles and network administration.
• Hands-on experience with computer hardware and operating systems.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of any scripting language.
• Relevant IT certifications.
