Description

You will manage and support database systems in production to ensure high availability and performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage database installations, configurations, upgrades, and patch management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues in production environments.
• Monitor performance, implement changes, and handle version updates.
• Maintain database security, access controls, and compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC 2.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to optimize database integration.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in database management and production operations.
• Expertise with Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Experience performing database installations and configuration management.
• Strong understanding of database security principles and best practices.
• Ability to generate detailed reports on database activities and performance metrics.
• Proven problem-solving skills for complex database troubleshooting.
• Relevant certifications such as OCP, Azure Database Administrator Associate, MySQL DBA, or PostgreSQL Certified Professional.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's Degree or any Graduate degree in a related field.
