You will lead the migration of legacy data jobs and reports to cloud-based solutions and modern data tools.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, classify, and redesign data jobs using Agile methodology.
• Identify business rules for extraction and assess technical risks like data latency.
• Build, prepare, and validate data for analytics against current report outputs.
• Perform test cases for data profiling and drive data quality assessment specifications.
• Optimize data queries and applications using indexes and materialized views.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of post-degree professional experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Proficiency in SQL and querying languages.
• Strong knowledge of database technologies and data development using Python and PLSQL.
• Experience building and preparing data for analytics.
• Understanding of data ingestion best practices and data design.
• Ability to modify data queries and implement performance tuning.
• Experience creating reports and visualizations in Tableau, PowerBI, AWS QuickSight, or AWS DataZone.
• Experience using TOAD data tools and implementing performance tuning in Tableau dashboards.

Preferred Skills

• Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or Snowflake.
