Description

You will build and prepare data for analytics while migrating legacy queries into modern data tools.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Convert SQL and other querying languages into modern data jobs and tools.
• Identify business rules for data extraction and assess technical risks like data latency and frequency.
• Perform test cases for data profiling, validation, and quality assessment to define deployment paths.
• Implement performance tuning using indexes and materialized views to optimize query performance.
• Manage data ingestion and design following established best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Proficiency in SQL and PLSQL.
• Experience with Python for data development.
• Expertise in building and managing reports in Tableau, PowerBI, AWS Quicksight, or AWS DataZone.
• Experience with data analysis and preparing datasets for analytics.
• Ability to perform performance tuning on queries and dashboards.
• Knowledge of database technologies and data design.
• Familiarity with TOAD data tools.
