Description

You will split your time between software engineering and data engineering to build and maintain a consolidated data platform. The role is 60% software engineering and 40% data engineering.

Responsibilities

• Gather technical requirements directly from business stakeholders.
• Extract data from both structured and unstructured sources via scraping.
• Build and maintain data pipelines to ingest information into the platform.
• Develop core platform functionality and host solutions on AWS.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python 3.7+.
• Experience with AWS hosting environments.
• Experience using Docker and Docker Compose for local development.
• Ability to work with structured and unstructured data sources.
• Practical knowledge of Linux environments.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
