Description

You will apply electrical and mechanical engineering principles to develop cost-effective designs within a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Develop 2D wire harness drawings and 3D routing designs ensuring secure connector integration.
• Design hardware fixation components, including brackets, clips, and mounting points, using 3D modeling.
• Execute hydraulic system designs, selecting components, fittings, and routing using Pro-E Wildfire.
• Design structural members, castings, weld fabrications, and welding structural components.
• Perform interference checks against top-level assemblies and apply Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to mechanical designs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical or electrical design.
• Proficiency in Creo, specifically Cabling, Piping, and Sheet Metal modules.
• Strong knowledge of 3D Modeling, CAD, and GD&T.
• Experience with sheet metal design, stack-up analysis, and casting design.
• Ability to create schematic drawings and manage large assemblies.
• Competency in weldment design and structural design.
• Analytical thinking skills for error identification and rectification in drawings and models.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP, ERP, or MPM.
• Knowledge of Value Analysis-Value Engineering (VA/VE) to reduce product costs.
