Description

You will design, develop, and support AWS-based solutions, including infrastructure migrations from physical or virtual environments. You will own the release pipeline, implement identity and access management, and drive hosting cost reductions through resource cleanup and automated scheduling. Mentoring L1 and L2 associates and participating in client design calls is part of this role.

Responsibilities

• Implement IAM for Azure portal and resources.
• Execute infrastructure migrations to the cloud.
• Automate repetitive tasks like VM provisioning and patching.
• Reduce hosting costs via resource cleanup and scheduling.
• Mentor L1/L2 associates and join client design calls.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Linux, Windows, and AWS (IaaS/PaaS).
• Mandatory AWS Professional level certification.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, Terraform, or CDK).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using CodeDeploy, CodePipeline, and CodeCommit.
• Hands-on experience with ECS, Elastic Beanstalk, and OpsWorks.
• Strong CLI and API experience using Python, PowerShell, Ruby, Bash, YAML, or JSON.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, NFS, NIS, DNS, DCE/DFS, LDAP, LPAR, and SNMP.
• Knowledge of shell scripting (Bash, sed, awk).
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation and weekend activities.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Azure, Apache, Samba, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of virtualization products (VMware, Citrix, RHEV).
• ITIL Process certification.
