Description

You will serve as backup to the G/L Supervisor and manage core general ledger functions.

You will prepare financial statements, perform account reconciliations, and analyze accounts. You will manage fixed asset and affiliated reporting. You will review, coach, and develop the work of Staff Accountants, assisting the supervisor with staff performance appraisals.

Responsibilities

Required Skills

• CPA certification.
• B.S. in Accounting.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in a professional accounting environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Proven ability to review and develop staff.
