Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy conversational AI agent components on Google Cloud using Cloud Functions and Cloud Run.
• Build tool/function calling integrations by registering external APIs that agents can invoke to retrieve data and execute backend tasks.
• Implement Dialogflow CX fundamentals for conversational flows and agent behavior.
• Manage LLM prompt engineering and conversational context (including system instructions and context window optimization) for voice interactions.
• Create automated agent evaluation (golden tests and simulation runs) and track performance metrics; support CI/CD for reliable releases.

Skills Required:

• 6+ years of working experience in Google Cloud Platform, Python, Dialogflow CX, and conversational AI/agent development.
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for deploying and operating agent components.
• Python proficiency with object-oriented programming, type hinting, and asynchronous patterns.
• Dialogflow CX fundamentals and conversational agent architecture concepts.
• API integration with tool/function calling and protocol buffers for payload parsing.
• Testing, evaluation, and CI/CD practices for automated agent validation and performance tracking.

Good to Have:

• Gen AI and generative agent design (goal-oriented, generative architectures vs. legacy intent-based state machines).
• SCRAPI evals for automated agent evaluation and golden test orchestration.
• Application Default Credentials (ADC) usage with gcloud CLI and environment authentication.
• Agentic IDE workflows using Gemini CLI or Claude Code within an evaluation/scaffolding workflow.

Education: Relevant degree (or equivalent practical experience) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
