Lead database administration operations, team performance, and long-term database architecture strategy.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Database Administrators, setting performance goals and managing daily operations.
• Define and enforce database standards, policies, and procedures to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance.
• Develop the long-term database architecture and strategy to align with business growth and technology roadmaps.
• Design, model, and implement complex database structures to accommodate various application and reporting needs.
• Continuously monitor, analyze, and optimize database performance, including query optimization, indexing, and configuration tuning.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of progressively responsible experience in database administration.
• 2-3 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Hands-on expertise with Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and DB2.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Database Administration tasks.
• Experience with Cloud Database technologies.
• Knowledge of ITIL frameworks for IT service management.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
