Description

You will manage single name corporate credit situations in North America across performing and opportunistic strategies in leveraged loan and high yield markets.

Responsibilities

• Build financial models including KPI driven revenue models, cost drivers, working capital analysis, capex schedules, and capital structure forecasts.
• Perform covenant analysis, default and recovery workouts, and IRR sensitivity testing.
• Prepare term sheets from credit agreements and bond indentures.
• Draft investment memos identifying catalysts and providing fundamental and relative value views for primary and secondary trades.
• Present deals to the investment committee and maintain full ownership of deal monitoring against benchmark bonds.
• Maintain portfolio coverage through model updates, earnings summary write-ups, and regular news monitoring.

Required Skills

• 4-5 years of buy-side or sell-side experience covering single name corporate credit in high yield markets.
• Expertise in leveraged loans and/or bond asset classes.
• Proficiency in building interconnected 3-statement financial models with base and downside cases.
• Experience writing investment memos for primary and secondary trades.
• Sector exposure in TMT, Healthcare, Autos, Manufacturing, or Oil & Gas.
• Proficiency with Bloomberg, CapIQ, FactSet, syndication sites, Everest, and eFront.
• MBA, CFA, or CA qualification.
• Strong skills in KPI driven revenue models, cost drivers, working capital analysis, capex schedules, capital structure forecasting, covenant analysis, and default modeling.
