Description

You will design, qualify, and implement primary and secondary packaging components and associated systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute testing and evaluation to recommend and select packaging materials.
• Write test protocols, perform technical evaluations, and produce justification reports.
• Develop technical specifications, engineering drawings, and artwork templates.
• Support line trials and packaging validation for new components or process changes.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator for creating packaging component templates.
• Competency in AutoCAD or similar software for engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of primary and secondary packaging systems and material science.
• Familiarity with material testing standards, requirements, and equipment.
• BS in Packaging, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• 0 to 3 years of general packaging or engineering experience.
