Description

You will provide technical design support and assist in the execution of capital projects across multiple manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities

• Create computer-aided designs and technical drawings for equipment, materials, workflows, and processes.
• Develop and maintain P&ID and GA layouts to document current states and implement modifications.
• Analyze schematics and blueprints against specifications to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
• Support the selection of engineering materials and equipment for plant operations.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Senior Plant Engineers to execute capital projects, including facility maintenance and energy utilization.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of related experience in a manufacturing or production setting.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD with the ability to conceptualize complex designs.
• Experience working within a food manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to perform troubleshooting and re-design of existing systems on the plant floor.
• Knowledge of engineering design principles and technical documentation systems.
• Ability to travel extensively (80%) to various plant and project sites.
• Capability to perform active work on the floor, including moving equipment and accessing processing areas.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Operational Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and plant energy utilization.
