Description

You will support process automation projects through technical documentation, field commissioning, and system troubleshooting.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute pre-commissioning and commissioning protocols, including safety checklists and load trial data.
• Develop and review basic engineering drawings such as single line diagrams, dimensional drawings, and fabrication drawings.
• Manage technical documentation including no-load/load trial graphs, parameter backups, and software backup maintenance.
• Size and cross-verify low voltage drives and motors based on specific application requirements.
• Generate commissioning and warranty reports, track pending point closures, and resolve post-commissioning customer complaints.

Required Skills

• 2 to 5 years of experience in drive solutions from similar suppliers.
• Experience in commissioning, troubleshooting, or servicing drive systems for metal industries or industrial cranes.
• Proficiency in PLC and DCS application programming and HMI development or modifications.
• Knowledge of communication protocols used between PLCs and drives.
• Familiarity with IT and network peripherals including UPS, printers, PCs, and DCS server components.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical or Electrical and Electronics Engineering with first-class honors.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with large-scale industrial automation projects.
• Strong understanding of low voltage drive sizing and selection criteria.
