Description

You will provide hands-on technical support within a data center and server room environment in Elk River, MN.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute device and cabling decommission activities, including power disconnects and hardware removals.
• Perform cabling installs and hardware installations.
• Conduct auditing, labeling, and incident support.
• Support complicated cutovers and assist with power redundancy tests.
• Participate in a one-week on-call rotation.

Required Skills

• 1-3+ years of experience performing cable installation and decommission activities in a data center or server room.
• 1-3+ years of experience performing device installation and decommission activities in a data center or server room.
• 1-3+ years of experience performing data center auditing activities.
• Registered Unlicensed or PLT status with the State of MN (low voltage).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook for email and calendar management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry, sorting, and filtering.
• Ability to lift 50lbs unassisted.
• Ability to work within confined spaces and while standing, kneeling, or sitting for extended periods.
• Ability to travel up to 25% locally.
