Description

You will support data center operations through hardware lifecycle management and onsite technical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Execute device and cabling decommissioning, including power disconnects and removals.
• Perform cabling installations and hardware device installations within the server room.
• Manage auditing and labeling tasks to maintain environment accuracy.
• Support complicated cutovers and assist with power redundancy tests.
• Participate in a one-week on-call rotation and provide incident support.

Required Skills

• 1-3+ years of experience performing cable installation and decommissioning in a data center or server room.
• 1-3+ years of experience performing device installation and decommissioning in a data center or server room.
• 1-3+ years of experience performing data center auditing activities.
• Registered Unlicensed or PLT status with the state of MN (low voltage).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook for email and calendar management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry, sorting, and filtering.
• Ability to lift 50lbs unsassisted.
• Ability to work within confined spaces and while standing, kneeling, or sitting for extended periods.
• Ability to travel up to 25% locally.
