Description

You will own system-level testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Execute setup, calibration, and troubleshooting of mechanical assemblies at the system level.
• Develop testing methods and procedures based on blueprints, drawings, and diagrams.
• Perform rework on assemblies and systems resulting from test findings.
• Write technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.
• Manage moderately difficult assignments with minimal supervision and provide technical guidance to peers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Experience testing digital and analog components and systems.
• Proven ability to formulate system-level requirements, test specifications, and test results.
• Proficiency using fine adjustment hand tools, torque wrenches, and calipers.
• Ability to work in a clean room environment.
• Capability to stand, sit, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
• Technical Certificate, AS degree, military technical training, or equivalent vocational training.
• Willingness to work extended hours, including weekends.

Preferred Skills

• BSEE, BSEET, or similar engineering degree.
• Hands-on experience with Oscilloscopes and DVM analysis tools.
• Knowledge of LabVIEW, Linux, and MS Office Suite.
