Description

Ensure software quality by executing manual tests and contributing to automation efforts within an agile framework.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Understand product requirements and functional specifications to define test strategies.
• Write, review, and execute detailed manual test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Design and maintain test automation scripts using Selenium.
• Perform regression, integration, and smoke testing to validate releases.
• Log and track defects to closure using Jira or TestRail.

Required Skills

• 6-9 months of experience in software QA, focusing on manual testing.
• Strong understanding of Functional, UI, and API testing for web and mobile apps.
• Familiarity with SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency with defect management tools like Jira or TestRail.
• Basic scripting knowledge in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience executing SQL queries for data validation.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Previous exposure to automated testing frameworks beyond basic scripting.
