Description

Manage the configuration, testing, and support of the Athenahealth application to ensure efficient clinical workflows.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and test Athenahealth application features and functions.
• Triage second and third-level support issues and escalate as required.
• Onboard new practices and provide ongoing EHR support.
• Manage application upgrades and create testing plans.
• Document system builds, workflows, and process improvements through flow charting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in healthcare application environments.
• Direct experience with Athenahealth, EMR, and EHR systems.
• Proven ability to analyze data and solve complex technical problems.
• Fundamental knowledge of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with report writing and data analysis.
• Ability to maintain strict data confidentiality and security protocols.
• Participate in a standby rotation requiring 24/7 availability during assigned periods.
