Description

This role owns the design and implementation of F5 and AVI load balancing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage F5 and load balancing solutions for on-prem, CSP, and hybrid environments.
• Consult with business partners on technology platform best practices and solution options.
• Troubleshoot complex issues within the Application Traffic Management environment (F5 and AVI).
• Provide shift-oriented operations support, collaborating with network operations and engineering teams.
• Serve as a member of the 3rd level engineering escalation on-call rotation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of engineering experience installing, configuring, and supporting load balancing technologies (F5, HA Proxy, VMWare/AVI).
• Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, including application knowledge.
• Expertise in network engineering and troubleshooting.
• Experience with routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VRF, VPNs.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Security Policy best practices.
• Familiarity with ITSM methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
