Description

You own the design, implementation, and support of F5 and AVI load balancing solutions across on-prem, CSP, and hybrid environments. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage F5 and AVI load balancing architectures for diverse infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot complex issues within the Application Traffic Management environment.
• Consult with business partners on technology platform best practices and solution options.
• Provide shift-oriented operations support and serve as part of the 3rd level engineering escalation on-call rotation.
• Collaborate with network operations and engineering teams to resolve incidents.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of engineering experience installing, configuring, and supporting load balancing technologies (F5, HA Proxy, VMWare/AVI).
• Deep knowledge of TCP/IP and application layer protocols.
• Expertise in network engineering and advanced troubleshooting.
• Experience with routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VRF, and VPNs.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Security Policy best practices.
• Familiarity with ITSM methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Ansible and Python for automation.
