Description

You design, implement, and maintain F5 and AVI load balancing solutions for critical enterprise applications across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design new enterprise solutions and enable customer connectivity within the Fidelity environment.
• Manage, support, and optimize F5 and AVI load balancing solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex issues within the Application Traffic Management environment.
• Consult with business partners on technology platform best practices and service options.
• Participate in 3rd level engineering escalation on-call rotation to ensure 24x7 availability.

Required Skills

• 4-6+ years of engineering experience supporting load balancing technologies, specifically F5 or AVI.
• Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP, including deep application layer understanding.
• Proficiency with routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VRF, and VPNs.
• Experience with network security policy knowledge and best practices.
• Familiarity with ITSM methodologies for IT service delivery.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-organizational teams.
• Proficiency with Ansible and Python for automation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with VMware virtualization technologies.
