Description

You will design and implement systems for high-fidelity audio processing, format conversion, and signal analysis.

Responsibilities

• Apply advanced signal processing techniques including filtering, equalization, compression, and spectral analysis to enhance audio quality and reduce noise.
• Develop algorithms for seamless format conversion, managing sample rate conversion, channel mapping, and codec compatibility.
• Design real-time audio processing systems for live streams with minimal latency and build automated batch processing workflows for large-scale data.
• Optimize processing systems for performance and scalability by identifying bottlenecks and tuning parameters for throughput.
• Validate audio processing pipelines through rigorous testing to ensure accuracy and consistency in processed data.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in audio processing or digital signal processing.
• Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or C++ for algorithm development and implementation.
• Deep understanding of audio formats (WAV, MP3, FLAC, AAC, AIFF, OGG), codecs, sampling theory, and digital audio principles.
• Hands-on experience with real-time frameworks such as JACK, PortAudio, or Audio Unit.
• Familiarity with batch processing frameworks like Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Airflow.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Audio Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree in a related technical field.
