Description

You will perform audio validation for future audio products and sustaining programs through advanced measurement and system performance testing.

Responsibilities

• Execute test plans and test cases to validate system performance using audio measurement equipment.
• Identify, report, and track defects using internal bug management systems.
• Collaborate with development and project management teams to triage and resolve audio-related system bugs.
• Conduct audio listening sessions to assess device quality.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of QA experience in a similar role.
• Fundamental understanding of systems engineering principles including requirements, specifications, verification, and validation.
• Knowledge of QA principles such as regression testing, functional testing, and stress vs. load testing.
• Experience navigating Linux-based operating systems via command-line/Terminal.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and scripting skills.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or C.
• Ability to work onsite in Culver City, CA.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of audio signal processing and audio measurement tools.
• Basic acoustics knowledge, such as dB SPL.
• Experience testing pro-audio hardware.
